Captain Billy Hock plays piano for stranded travelers
By Leisa Zigman
ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - United Express Captain Billy Hock was stranded at Lambert International Airport along with 1700 other people, so he decided to sit down and do what he loves most; play piano.
He played in terminal one for about three hours as a mixture of snow and sleet covered the runway.
About 300 flights were cancelled at the airport and by 2 p.m. Southwest Airlines, United, and American had stopped all service.
Frontier and Delta continued some its flights throughout the day.
All carriers hope to be back at full service in the morning.
By the way, Captain Hock composes all of his music, and while passengers were tired he did bring smiles to their faces.
