ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Heavy snowstorms in St. Louis don't come that often and when they do there are plenty of people who take advantage of it.
Brothers Brad and Tyler Bilbrey spent 14 hours shoveling commercial sidewalks and more than 100 driveways. Brad took the day off work from his detailing job to moonlight with Duffy Outdoors, snow clearing company.
"I love it, making some extra cash," he said.
Tyler, a college student, says they'll each make about $300 in one day. He plans to save most of the money and use the rest to pay for gas.
While the Bilbrey brothers make money, a young man around the same age told NewsChannel 5 the snow made him feel like a kid again.
Mike McKee, 19, took his childhood sled and went sledding for the first time in a decade.
He spent a few hours being carefree and enjoying the storm. McKee says when it comes to staying warm he says you just have to psych yourself out, don't think about it, and just have fun.
