ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - An accident shut down northbound traffic on I-170 north of Airport Road for a short time Friday evening.
Around 9 p.m. a car traveling northbound on I-170 was cut off by a second vehicle, causing the first car to loose control and flip into the median.
The driver suffered serious injuries as a result of the crash.
Two passengers received minor injuries.
Traffic is being diverted onto Airport Road at this time.
All lanes of I-170 have reopened to traffic.
