ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Another large weather system will be moving into the region overnight Tuesday.
The storm is expected to be mainly a rain event for the St. Louis metro area, but counties to the north, including Montgomery and Pike counties, could receive two to three inches of snow.
The majority of snow is expected to fall north and west of a line extending from Columbia, Missouri to Quincy, Illinois.
St. Louis will see heavy rain starting after midnight, with the possibility of snow mixing in after mid-day on Tuesday.
There should be no significant accumulation in most of the NewsChannel 5 viewing area, because the ground temperatures are too warm.
The forecast could vary slightly depending upon how far south and west the cold air moves.
