UNION, Mo. (KSDK) - Good news for a puppy who was tied to the back of a pickup truck and dragged down Interstate 55 last November.

For the past three months, Trooper, a pit bull puppy, has been receiving medical care at the Humane Society of Missouri.

Trooper, now nine months old, was moved to foster care Monday at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch with the idea of getting him acclimated to other animals and dogs.

He'll be up for adoption soon.
