ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Yogi Berra might have made a pretty good meteorologist because, when it comes to our winter storm " ain't over 'til it's over."

A low pressure system with a well deserved reputation for producing heavy snow (19" in Texas, 15" in Kansas, 12" in Kansas City and 8" in Columbia) arrived here with lots of rain in the metro and 2-5" of snow for areas to the west and north.

But that was Monday night.

Tonight with the low right over the top of us and sliding slowly east it will draw in flurries, snow showers and freezing drizzle through the morning commute and across much of Wednesday.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. for Montgomery, Warren, Gasconade, Lincoln and Pike counties in Missouri where a dusting of snow and freezing drizzle is possible tonight and tomorrow.

On Thursday and Friday, the low moves east but if you're wondering when those gray skies are going to clear up; well, that won't happen until the weekend.
