ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Ameren Missouri says they have restored power to nearly everyone after Tuesday's winter storm.
Tuesday afternoon over 13,000 people were without power after heavy snow weighed down power lines and trees. As of 9 a.m. Wednesday that number has dropped to below 1,500.
A spokesperson for Ameren Missouri says around 500 workers are deployed, which include linemen, tree trimmers, and support staff.
Strom trailers were used as mobile warehouses and are currently located in Moberly, Lake of the Ozarks, Boonville, and Jefferson City.
If you encounter any downed power lines you are asked to call Ameren Missouri at 1-800-522-7583 or 911. Always assume downed power lines are energized, and do not touch them.
