ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The St. Louis Area Foodbank has received a $1 million award.
Bob Hughes, President of the Missouri Foundation for Health awarded the money Friday morning.
The Missouri Foundation for Health will donate another $3 million to Missouri food banks over the next two years to help increase food distribution.
At least $200,000 of the $1 million will go to help infrastructure and equipment improvements at the Foodbank and their 500 community-based partners.
