ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A candidate for St. Louis alderman is crying foul after claims of unfair polling practices in the 5th Ward.
Michelle Hutchins-Medina says volunteers for incumbent Tammika Hubbard passed out fliers that advertised free food and free drinks after the polls closed. The name Hubbard is also painted on a mural at the community center to honor a relative of the incumbent.
Election officials say they can't do much about the building, but as soon as they knew about the flyers, they were confiscated.
Calls and emails to Tammika Hubbard have not been returned.
Hubbard ended up winning the race with 55 percent of the vote.
