O'FALLON, Mo. (KSDK) - An 8-year-old boy, abducted the day after Christmas, has been found safe.

Police say 52-year-old Donna Andres took the boy, her grandson, from his home in O'Fallon, Missouri. The two had not been seen since.

Andres was charged with child abduction, and the O'Fallon Police Department asked for help from the public in order to locate the pair.

Police say an anonymous tip led them to St. Charles, where they were found.

Andres is held on a $25,000 bond.

The Missouri Division of Family Services is now investigating.
