COTTAGE HILLS, Ill. (KSDK) - A 26-year-old man with a felony warrant was arrested for damaging a bench outside a restaurant.
The Madison County Sheriff's Department said Christopher Smith is accused of damaging a bench in the parking lot of 132 West MacArthur Drive at 4:25 a.m. Monday.
He was arrested at the scene.
Investigators said a check revealed that Smith had a felony warrant out of Madison County for unlawful possession of cannabis. He was taken to the Madison County Jail and is being held on a $2,600 cash bond.
