CHICAGO (WLS/CNN) - Family and loved ones lined up waiting to pay their respects to a baby killed by gun violence in Chicago.
Six-month-old Jonylah Watkins was shot as she sat in her father's lap in a minivan a week ago. Her wake was held Monday.
Police believe the gunfire was meant for her father, Jonathan Watkins. He is cooperating with investigators, according to police.
Jonylah's death comes after the death of 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton in January.
Last year alone, there were 513 homicides in the city.
