ST. LOUIS COUNTY (KSDK) - A St. Louis County man has been charged with first-degree assault.
Police say they were called to New Halls Ferry Road and Wedgewood Drive on Monday for a report about shots fired.
Eric V. Rogers, 23, is accused of using a handgun to shoot at a 32-year-old man while chasing the victim with his car down New Halls Ferry Road.
The shot hit the rear passenger wide window of the victim's vehicle.
Police say Rogers and the victim know each other and were fighting over a girl they had both dated.
Rogers has been charged with one count of first-degree assault, one count of unlawful use of a weapon, and one count of armed criminal action.
He is held on a $100,000 bond.
