ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - St. Louisans joined thousands of federal employees to protest the federal government's forced budget cuts Wednesday.
Federal employees rallied outside the Clayton office of Missouri Senator Roy Blunt.
Some of them have been furloughed because of the sequester.
Nearly 100 rallies took place across the country as part of a mass demonstration organized by the American Federation of Government Employees.
NewsChannel 5 contacted Senator Blunt's office and Senator Claire McCaskill's office but have not gotten a response.
