ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Road crews have been out all day, battling this round of heavy snow.
Becky Allmeroth, a spokesperson for the Missouri Department of Transportation joined NewsChannel 5 at 5 p.m. on the phone to talk about the plan for the overnight hours.

MoDOT crews will continue to plow and treat roads throughout the night, but rivers are urged to stay off the roads if possible because strong winds may push snow back onto the roadways.
State Maintenance Engineer Elizabeth Wright says the busiest highway in Missouri and partly covered to mostly clear, except within St. Louis and the northeast corner of the state because snow is still falling.
Light snow is expected to continue to fall through Monday.
