St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - A motorist was hospitalized Wednesday morning after colliding with a building, then a light standard while driving in north St. Louis.
Police responded to the crash scene in the 6500 block of North Broadway just before 3:00 a.m. this morning and found the vehicle in the middle of the northbound lanes.
Investigators also determined the driver of the vehicle was injured and had the victim transported to the hospital for serious injuries.
Authorities believe the vehicle was southbound on Broadway near Humboldt, when the driver lost control, crashed into a building, then slammed into a utility pole, snapping the pole off and into the street.
No names were released and the investigation is continuing.
