ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Former President Bill Clinton will be among high-profile participants of a huge event happening in St. Louis this weekend.
On Friday the former president will be moderating the first session of the Clinton Global Initiative meeting at Washington University.
More than 1,000 of the world's brightest college students are attending the event.
Mr. Clinton established the Initiative back in 2005, and it brings the globe's future leaders together to start providing solutions to the world's more pressing problems.
Jeremy Goss, a second-year medical student at Saint Louis University's project will be one of five featured at this weekend's conference. It focuses on eliminating so-called "food deserts" which are neighborhoods that don't have a grocery store within a one mile radius.
Goss targeted 15 food deserts across the metro area, and he's now working to bring fresh produce to those neighborhoods with his mobile food market.
