Maryland Heights, MO (KSDK) -- Hollywood Casino reopened its gambling floor Sunday morning after a computer glitch forced gamblers and patrons to vacate the premises.

NewsChannel 5 received calls from gamblers who called it a night and headed home after their gaming experience was cut short and they were asked to exit the gaming floor just past 11:00 p.m. Saturday.

Hollywood Casino confirmed to the newsroom that the casino was experiencing a computer issue that has been resolved.

Hollywood Casino took over the property formerly known as Harrah's in Maryland Heights after the license was bought and transferred to Penn National Gaming Incorporated by the Missouri Gaming Commission.
