WENTZVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) - Wentzville police are asking for the public's help regarding burglaries that occurred more than a week ago at a pair of storage facilities.

According to Major Paul West, a spokesman for the Wentzville Police Department, the burglaries occurred between the hours of 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 30 and 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, March 31. Two suspects broke into the Safe Storage Lock facility in the 1400 block of Continental Drive and the RV Storage facility in the 1500 block of Continental Drive.

Both are located along the north service road of I-70 near the Highway 61 interchange, West said.

Investigators said several storage lockers and RVs were broken into, resulting in the theft of $3,000 worth of electronics and tools.

Surveillance footage shows one of the suspects was a large, heavy-set man and the other a person with a slighter build. Police describe a possible suspect vehicle as a 1990s red Jeep Cherokee that had a large Grateful Dead sticker in the center of the rear window of the vehicle.

Anyone with information on these burglaries is asked to contact the Wentzville Police Department at 636-639-2139 or 636-327-5105.
