ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District says work on a section of road affected by a collapsed storm sewer has been completed.
A 42 inch sewer caused lane closures this week on Hanley Road south of Manchester Road.
Work to repair the roadway will continue Thursday and Friday morning.
A spokesperson for MSD says all lanes of Hanley Road should be reopen by Friday afternoon's rush hour. Until all lanes are open, the northbound curbside lane of Hanley Road will remain closed.
Other sections of the sewer and work on the roadway will continue in coming weeks, and lanes will only close between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.
