Edwardsville police investigate robbery of Scott Credit Union

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (KSDK) - Edwardsville police are asking for help identifying a bank robbery suspect.

The Edwardsville Police Department was called to the Scott Credit Union in the 1000 block of S. State Rte. 157 at 2:11 p.m. Monday for a report of a robbery.

Police say the suspect entered the credit union and handed the teller a demand note, inferring he had a weapon.

He fled from the scene northbound with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male between 20 and 25-years-old. He stands 6'0" tall and was last seen wearing a dark green fedora, dark green windbreaker, and tan pants.
