TEMPE, Ariz. (KPHO/CNN) - An Arizona college student who had too much to drink is left unconscious at an emergency room with nothing but a Post-it note to alert medical staff.
Folks who live in this Tempe neighborhood near Roosevelt and Southern told CBS5 their neighbors are known for throwing lively parties.
"Loud, obviously, like hundreds of people," said neighbor Wesley Brinkman.
According to Tempe police, two members of Sigma Alpha Epsilon challenged each other to a drinking contest. Police say Aidan Mohr took 20 shots of tequila.
According to the police report, his friends had no idea how drunk he was until he fell and knocked over the bar.
After some debate a couple friends decided to take Mohr to the hospital but instead of alerting medical staff, police say he was left in the lobby with a note.
"He was turning blue he was having difficulty breathing," said Michael Pooley with the Tempe Police Department. "When somebody's in a situation like this they need to get emergency assistance to their friends if they don't it is going to raise suspicion. The least of our worries at the time is if these kids are drinking underage."
Police say the 20-year-old college student will be cited for drinking underage.
