St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - St. Louis Police have identified a person of interest they'd like to talk to after two calls to a north city home overnight.
The first call was a property destruction crime involving the victims car. Police arrived around 1:45 a.m. this morning after the victim told police someone had smashed all the glass out of his car parked outside his home in the 1400 block of Bissell.
Then at 3:20 a.m. firefighters were called for a first alarm fire at the same home on Bissell where they found a raging blaze when they arrived.
The man living at the home, and three other people were already safely out of the duplex when firefighters and police arrived at the location.
The man whose car was vandalized earlier, was seen talking to officers about his suspicions on who was responsible while NewsChannel-5 was documenting the fire.
Arson investigators were called in after evidence determined someone had pour gasoline through an open bedroom window and set it ablaze.
Significant damage to the structure and the contents. No one was hurt.
