ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - The City of St. Louis is hosting a donation drive, called STL4OKC, for the tornado victims in Oklahoma City. They plan to use the title as a hashtag, and therefore spread the word through social media.

The drive will run Thursday, May 23 and Friday, May 24. On Thursday, the city hopes to capitalize on the crowd coming to Busch Stadium to watch the Chelsea FC vs. Manchester City soccer match. A trailer will be parked in the TUMS lot near Gate 6 at the corner of Spruce and Broadway throughout the day.

On Friday there will be two drop-off sites in the county and city with locations to be determined.

All donations will go to the Red Cross in Oklahoma City. The City of St. Louis held a similar donation drive for the victims of Hurricane Sandy and it was a great success. They hope to get the trucks on the road early Saturday morning.
