Cahokia, IL (KSDK) - Police are investigating another smash and grab burglary crime in the area.
The latest crime occurred early Thursday morning at a convenience store along Illinois Route 157 in Cahokia.
Around 3:30 a.m. officers responded to the Conoco-Phillips store in the 2200 block of Camp Jackson, just east of Interstate 255 and found the front doors of the business smashed inward.
Witnesses reported seeing a dark colored pick-up truck with several men inside, fleeing the crime scene.
The store was closed at the time of the break in and there was no immediate word on what was taken. The investigation is continuing.
