ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - An arrest has been made in the shooting of two brothers at a convenience store last week.
The St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office charged 23-year-old Joseph Fox with first-degree murder, first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary and three counts of armed criminal action.
The shooting happened at Chippewa and Alfred on the morning of Friday, May 31.
Police said the 19-year-old victim, identified as Haris Gogic, was shot in the head and later died at the hospital. His 23-year-old brother was shot in the arm and has been released.
"His dream was to save money and go to California for school. He really wanted to be a pilot. He was a happy kid. He was always smiling. He's a great guy. He definitely didn't deserve this. I don't know how I am going to live day by day without him," said Mirza Gogic, Haris' surviving brother.
