ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Construction crews are making progress on the new Saint Louis University School of Law building downtown. It's expected to open next month.
On Friday we got a tour of the building that's located just one block away from the civil courts and City Hall, and just three blocks from the federal courthouse.
The location will make it easier for the legal community to teach, mentor, and work with law school students.
"I think the students are really excited to be down here we've got a lot of students looking forward to this new lifestyle of being downtown as well as having their building downtown and all the synergies it will create with just the legal profession," said Amy Sanders, assistant director of the Center of Health Law Studies.
One of the biggest features of the new building will be a courtroom that holds over 200 people.
