ST. PETERS, Mo. (KSDK) - St. Peters police say early Tuesday morning thieves broke into the Suntrup Buick/GMC dealership off Interstate 70.

Officers say the smashed in a window to reach the car keys customers left in the night drop box and stole three cars.

When the Suntrup service manager arrived he reported the break in and found two envelopes which held keys lying on the floor. The manager reported those two cars stolen. It was not until later in the day when the third customer called, did the dealership realize her car had even been dropped off.

Police recovered two cars in the City of St. Louis with the help of OnStar, and they appeared to be visibly unharmed.

They have still not found the third car.
