LEBANON, Ill. (KSDK) - A father of six drowned Wednesday at a Lebanon, Ill. park.
Family says 44-year-old Lewis Jones was fishing at Lake Horner Park when his pole went into the water around 6 p.m. He went in after it, and became caught on something and couldn't get out of the water.
Jones' family witnessed the accident.
He was a poet, minister, and artist and was scheduled to be the Father's Day speaker at his church, Christ Church.
