Clayton, MO (KSDK) - A Pacific man has reached a plea deal with prosecutors in a crime that occurred at Six Flags amusement park last summer.
20 year old Jeremy Bates pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of invasion of privacy, admitting he watched a teenage girl through a small gap around a door frame of the dressing room where the victim was partially nude.
The dressing room was in the water park area of the popular park, where the mother of the victim witnessed Bates peeping into the area where the 13 year old was undressing.
The woman contacted park officials, who then contacted Eureka Police.
In addition to the two years of probation, Bates was also ordered to undergo a sex offender evaluation, counseling, and have no contact with the victim.
