ST. LOUIS (KSDK) -- A crash on I-64 in St. Louis County at 8:15PM Saturday night left one person dead and two others injured.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2003 Chevrolet S10 traveling eastbound on I-64 west of Boones Crossing, when he spun out of control in front of a semi-truck, which caused the semi to overturn. According to the police report, the S10 truck was traveling too fast for conditions.
The driver of the Chevrolet, David Hoffman, 34, was ejected from the vehicle, and pronounced dead on the scene.
Officials say that the driver was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
The other two passengers of the Chevrolet, Brittany Ruchman, 25, and Christopher Jackson, 33, were transported to a local hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver of the semi-truck was unharmed.
