ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - A worker who was killed Friday evening at the Pepsi bottling plant in north St. Louis has been identified.
The accident happened around 9 p.m. at the plant, located at #1 Union 70 Center Parkway.
St. Louis Police responded to the bottling plant after Mensud DJelmo, 42, became trapped in a packing unit machine.
The trapped employee was found be another worker returning from his break. The second employee called police.
DJelmo was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials are not releasing any other details at this time and the investigation continues.
