ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - There was a big "non-ruling" from the U.S. Supreme Court Monday morning on the use of race in college admissions.
It sent a Texas case back to a lower court for another look. It was a 7-1 decision that leaves a lot of issues unsettled, including many of the basic questions about the continued use of race as a factor in deciding who gets into college.
So what does it mean for anyone applying to a college in the near future?
Professor Aaron Taylor from Saint Louis University Law School joined First @ 4 Monday to talk about Fisher v. University of Texas.
