Alton attorney Bradford Hunt accused of growing marijuana

ALTON, Ill (KSDK) - An Alton attorney is out on bond after being arrested for pot allegedly growing in the basement of a house he owns.

Madison County State's Attorney Thomas Gibbons charged Bradford Hunt on June 21 with two counts of unlawful production of cannabis sativa plants and one count of unlawful possession of cannabis.

The 24 plants were found in a home in the 3600 block of Horn Street in Alton.

Alton police said the plants and grow equipment were found in the basement of the home during a burglary investigation.
