ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - There's new information about a rolling gun battle in St. Louis.

The Chevy Camaro involved in the incident belongs to a soldier from Florissant. The Camaro crashed at Broadway and Blase Tuesday night and everyone took off.

The soldier's father says the Camaro was stolen from a Florissant bowling alley when his son was on leave in early June. He says the car had a gun in it because his son is licensed to carry.

"With that gun being on the street, you know, now that poses another danger because now you have something else out there that can cause harm or danger to someone else so we need to get that gun off the streets and into the proper hands of the authorities," said Roger Hunt.

Police say they don't know how many people they're looking for, or if anyone was hurt in the gun battle.
