ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - Friday night's Celebrate St. Louis Summer Concert has been canceled.

A personal family matter has forced K'NAAN to withdraw from his performance. The event was scheduled to feature two other performers, DJ Wood and Joia, but after being unable to secure another headliner the event has been canceled.

Saturday's concert, featuring NEEDTOBREATHE, will go on as scheduled. The July 20 performance will open at 6 p.m. Blackwater '64 will perform at 6:15 p.m., followed by Roots of Rebellion at 7:15 p.m. before NEEDTOBREATHE takes the Budweiser Main Stage at 9 p.m.

This will be the final installment of the free concert series this year.

NewsChannel 5 intern Sam Clancy contributed to this report.
