Gunfire in north St. Louis leaves man with arm injury

St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Two men walking in north St. Louis late Wednesday night was cause for police to respond after one of the two was struck by gunfire.

Authorities say just after 11:30 p.m. in the 4300 block of Lexington Avenue, gunfire erupted as the men passed.  One of the men grabbed his arm realizing he'd been shot.

Police were called and located the twenty year old victim who was treated for a bullet wound to his upper arm.  He's listed in stable condition.

Police could find no sign of where the shots were fired from, whether the victims were targeted, or were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
