CLAYTON, Mo. (KSDK) -  The former mayor of Valley Park is more trouble with the law, this time charged with identity theft after obtaining a credit card by using his estranged wife's name, social security number, and other information.

Nathan Grellner, 28, is alleged to have accepted the card following processing by Chase Bank, then using the card to make purchases in excess of $500, unbeknownst to his wife, Aliesha.

Aliesha and Nathan Grellner are in the process of getting a divorce, according to authorities who tell NewsChannel 5 she had never consented or had knowledge of what Grellner was doing.

Grellner is already facing criminal charges in St. Louis County accusing him of fraud after allegedly using city issued credit cards for his own personal use.

It doesn't end there though, as Grellner also faces charges including DWI, assault, and resisting arrest from Jefferson County following incidents in June 2012 involving police officers in Byrnes Mill.
