ARNOLD, Mo. (KSDK) - An Arnold man has been charged for shooting his friend in the torso.
Keith James Wildharber is charged with first-degree involuntary manslaughter.
Police say shortly before 11 p.m. Monday Wildharber was inside a home in the 3200 block of Richardson Place Drive drinking alcohol with three other people.
Wildharber is accused of pulling a Ruger P95 9mm pistol from his waistband. He then removed the magazine, and ejected the live ammunition before reinserting the magazine.
Authorities say Wildharber pointed the gun at the victim and asked if he trusts him.
Wildharber allegedly pulled the trigger, shooting the victim in the torso.
The 26-year-old victim was taken to St. Anthony's Medical Center in south St. Louis County where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
Wildharber is held at the Jefferson County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
