St. Charles, MO (KSDK) - Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers say a street race was the cause of a rollover crash Sunday night that left a Wentzville teen seriously hurt.
Troopers say around 7:45 p.m. Sunday on eastbound Highway 370 two eastbound cars just east of Harry S. Truman Boulevard collided.
Investigators say 24 year old David Brawley of Moscow Mills lost control and struck the driver's side of the other car, Brawley's 2005 Pontiac GTO then left the pavement, struck a guard rail and flipped over.
The car Brawley struck, driven by 19 year old Justin Hendrix also left the roadway and overturned into a ditch.
Hendrix was taken to a St. Charles hospital for emergency treatment. Brawley was not hurt in the collision.
