St. Louis, MO (KSDK) - Police have little in the way of a description as they try to track down a group of five men who allegedly were involved in an argument with another man who ended up stabbed in the chest.
Police were first called to a business near the corner of Grand and Montgomery around 11;00 p.m. Tuesday. While officers were looking for evidence, a second call came out for a man down at Spring and Cottage.
Investigators connected the dots and confirmed the man at Spring and Cottage was the man stabbed outside the liquor store on Grand. Officials say the 26 year old victim was able to escape his attackers and flee to the location where he eventually collapsed.
The unidentified man was taken to the hospital where he's listed in critical but stable condition this morning.
No immediate word on what the men were arguing about prior to the attack.
