WILDWOOD, Mo. (KSDK) - School authorities at Marquette High School identified one of the victims of a fatal car accident in Wildwood late Thursday night.
Eighteen-year-old Chris Lenzen, who graduated from Marquette in 2013, died in the accident that claimed the lives of three people. NewsChannel 5 is not identifying the other victims, pending notification of family members.
The accident happened just before 10 p.m. Thursday in the 18000 block of Homestead Manor Drive. The four people, all in their late teens, were riding in a convertible when the car ran off the road, struck the deck of a house, and went into the woods.
Two people died at the scene. One person was going to be airlifted to an area hospital, but that person died before being loaded into the helicopter. The fourth victim did not appear to be injured, but has been taken to an area hospital as a precaution.
There's no word on what caused the accident.
