ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - NewsChannel 5 has received several reports from viewers about bad road conditions on the Poplar Street bridge, so we decided to find out if any repairs would be made.
Deanna Venker, a spokesperson for the Missouri Department of Transportation, says they will implement a temporary fix this month. The work will take place between St. Louis Cardinals games, and will most likely take place on weekends and overnights.
Venker says the temporary fix must be in place before winter, and they are still waiting for materials for the new pavement.
She says a full repair will be made early next year.
