TOWN AND COUNTRY, Mo. (KSDK) - Allegro Senior Living has withdrawn its proposal for a luxury senior living community in Town and Country.
Allegro was scheduled to present the proposal at a Sept. 23 hearing before the Town and Country Board of Aldermen.
The Town and Country Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously in July to deny the development. At the July meeting, more than 150 residents protested the development.
Allegro recently initiated a public information campaign of brochure mailings and phone calls to residents about the project, which called for 150 apartments.
