Bruce Houser injured after being tossed from Harley Davidson

Villa Ridge, MO (KSDK) - A collision between a motorcycle and a car in Franklin County Wednesday evening leaves the cyclist hospitalized.

Troopers with the Missouri Highway Patrol report around 6:45 p.m. yesterday, an eastbound car planning to make a turn off Highway 100 at Route M. failed to yield to a westbound Harley Davidson motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle, 57 year old Bruce Houser of Labadie struck the side of the turning car, knocking Houser from the bike and to the ground.

Houser was taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with serious injuries.

The driver of the car, identified as 28 year old Alexsandra Heigl of Pacific was not injured in the crash.
