EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. (KSDK) - The U.S. Attorney for the Southern Illinois District charged three men for a restaurant robbery that occurred earlier in August.
Christopher Ford, 28, of St. Louis, Daniel Amerson, 26, of Cahokia, and Terry Scott, 44, of Alorton, each face a charge of interference with commerce for the robbery of a Fairview Heights Chili's Restaurant on Aug. 1.
Three men walked into the restaurant in the 6300 block of North Illinois Street and robbed the restaurant while open for business. Two of the men were armed with handguns and wore masks.
One suspect took an employee to a back office and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
The unarmed suspect took additional employees to the same area as the second armed suspect confronted customers in the bar area.
No one was injured.
All three men are being held without bail until trial, which is scheduled for Oct. 7.
