KSDK - This weekend may mark the unofficial end to summer but someone forgot to tell Mother Nature. For the second day in a row St. Louis has a new high for the record books (103; ties with 2011).
The National Weather Service has extended the Heat Advisory for most of the viewing area to Sunday evening with temperatures likely to push at least into the upper 90s bringing the Heat Index back into the triple digits Sunday Afternoon.
As if the heat weren't enough...Sunday afternoon and evening we're also likely to see storms again and some may be severe.
The weather work should be done by Labor Day...when highs will be in the mid to upper 80s and skies fair.
