ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. (KSDK) - Volunteers are needed for habitat restoration at Broemmelsiek Park.
The St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department is teaming up with Greenway network to restore wildlife habitat in honor of National Public Lands Day.
Volunteers of all ages are needed to plant trees and shrubs.
The event will take place from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. To register to help, email St. Charles County Parks Natural Resource Supervisor Ben Grossman at email@example.com, and use Broemmelsiek Planting in the subject line of the email.
You can also register online through the St. Charles Parks and Recreation Department's website. A liability waiver will need to be filled out by each volunteer on the day of the event.
