NEW YORK (KSDK) - Hoda Kotb, co-host of the fourth hour of the "Today" show accidentally displayed her personal cell phone number on the air Thursday, and received more than 1,000 text messages throughout the show.
She called the new Samsung watch phone she was wearing from her personal cell phone to demonstrate how it works. The watch phone started to ring, displaying her personal phone number.
Hoda answered the first few phone calls, but they kept coming.
Co-host Kathie Lee Gifford made a similar mistake earlier this year when she turned her cell phone to the camera while on the phone with her daughter, Cassidy. Cassidy's cell phone number was clearly visible, and she received hundreds of messages before changing her phone number about an hour later.
Watch the entire video below. The phone debacle begins around the 4:55 mark.
