ST. LOUIS (KSDK) - An interim president of Catholic Charities of St. Louis has been named. President Brian O'Malley, Chief Operation Officer Jack Krings, and Chief Financial Officer Colleen Dusek resigned Friday.
Jack Lally will serve as interim president. He started with Catholic Charities in 1956 and was the first lay president of Catholic Charities of St. Louis. Lally retired in 1998 and returned briefly in 2009 to serve as interim chief operating officer.
"I am grateful for Mr. Lally's willingness to serve Catholic Charities of St. Louis in this leadership role," stated Archbishop Robert J. Carlson. "With someone of his caliber at the helm, I am confident that Catholic Charities will continue to remain faithful to its mission to serve the poor and all in need during this transition."
A spokesperson for Catholic Charities says searches for a new president, COO, and CFO will begin soon.
A reason for the three resignations has not been given.
